# SiftlineRecord (/docs/api/core/interfaces/SiftlineRecord)



A Record, in the glossary's sense: one normalised input to the Engine, an id and the state to
judge. Sender, Source and raw payload stay with the caller. Named so it does not shadow
TypeScript's global `Record<K, V>`.
